The company plans to slash the price of its I-MiEV electric car $6,130, making the total cost before tax credit and other incentives $23,845. The car also includes more standard features, such as heated seats; side mirror defrosters, rear door stereo speakers, leather steering, fog lights and daytime running lights. Fans of these electric cars should take this price cut as a sign the market is healthy and competitive.
