The Mitsubishi Outlander has been redesigned for 2014. The IIHS Top Safety Pick + is very child friendly especially for car seats. It now features higher-quality materials in the interior and a sleeker, sporty looking exterior. Like the previous models it can either fit 5 passengers in two rows or seven with an optional third row. Despite the stiff seat leather, the two sets of lower latch anchors in the second row, are actually quite easy to reach. The forward facing convertible car seat, installed easily in the second row, and the front passenger did not have to move their seat up to accommodate the seat.
